These Boots Were Made For Abandoning

Date: 26.4.09
Location: Epping Station
One fine day, as my often companion Liz and I were making our way to the station, we came across these little booties.
Who would abandon such delightfully kitsch boots?
I was heartbroken when we returned so i could take the poor orphans home with me as they were gone,
perhaps the owner realised their mistake and came back to beg for forgiveness?
Or perhaps some other fortunate soul came along and was on their way home, not on their way out.
Whatever the case,
finding lonely boots and trying them on hoping to not be bitten by any spider lurking inside,
made me smile.

The Boy Who Couldn't Skate

Unfortunately for our friend (pictured as the far left blur of a person), not all of us are blessed with the skating skills of the flying Mighty Ducks.
This crazy kid was more like the early Goldburg, or even Mendoza as he tried to stop.
Liz and I were just hanging at the Mac Library, failing at doing work, getting our personal items kicked out of the room we left for too long unattended, when we thought, "hey. you know what we need? too much Macca's. So much infact, that we shall feel sick. Then we can watch people iceskating and not-so-quietly mock them."
And more Specifically, said boy.
He couldn't stand up for more than two metres.
He couldnt even stand up when one of his friends was holding onto his arm.
Oh the hilarity of laughing at other peoples lack of coordination, it brightens any day!
Although when we saw him at the station my stalker photo may have slightly failed (i thought flash might be a little too obvious) these fond memories will stay with Sleazy Zi-zi and I.
